If you thought Tuesday afternoon was warm, just wait until Wednesday. Numerous high temperatures will fall across the state Wednesday afternoon.
Temperatures Wednesday afternoon will likely be 20 to 25 degrees above average for the end of April. Many record high temperatures will shatter across the state.
A few locations to likely set new high temperatures include:
Wichita (previous record 90° in 1901)
Salina (previous record 94° in 1989)
Dodge City (previous record 90° in 1989)
Garden City (previous record 90° in 1983)
Goodland (previous record 88° in 1981)
Pratt (previous record 92° on 1989) Cooler air as well as showers and thunderstorms will move into KAKEland starting on Thursday.www.kake.com/home/headlines/Record_Highs_Temperatures_Will_Tumble_Across_KAKEland_Wednesday_148776865.html
